About

Where do the stories come from?

These stories consist of a verse by verse retelling of stories to be found in the Christian Bible. These stories were chosen to show the character of God and his interaction with people over a period of more than 2000 years.

There are 63 stories consisting of over 300 episodes covering the Old Testament, Jesus's life and teachings., the first generation of Christians (the book of Acts) and a brief stop in the book of Revelation.

The pictures of these stories were created in the 2000s by Tibetan artists in Tibet. The work was facilitated by staff members of All Nations. These pictures were posted on the hisstory.name web site.

In 2021, Dhondup Tsering saw these pictures and decided that he wanted to make videos of these pictures in his own words using only spoken language, not written language. Using technical assistance from volunteers and working from Bible translations in Tibetan and English, he presented the stories that are contained on this site.
